It is the only route that links in a single line all advanced forms of life — humanity, the habitats of the largest mammals (including elephants, cetaceans, and primates), and the richest plant zones (from deep-ocean ecosystems to high mountain endemics);
THE WORLD’S MAJOR NATURAL WONDERS, reserves, and zones of geomagnetic anomalies — including Mount Kailash, Nanda Devi in the Himalayas, and the Bermuda Triangle;
and THE GLOBAL “CAPITALS” OF DOLPHINS AND WHALES — among them the Canary Islands, the Japanese archipelago, the Bahamas, and the Hawaiian Islands.
The first circumnavigation along the 30th parallel (2012–2013) was carried out by the Dolphin Embassy under the leadership of the creators of the future project Mission Curius.
An attempt to repeat the expedition in 2025, already within the framework of the Curius project (together with the dog who became the prototype of the main character), proved only partially possible—the majority of countries were in states of internal or external conflict.
However, Mission Curius is not focused on current political events, but on the search for a fundamental common ground underlying culture, intelligence, and humanity.
BIFURCATIONS
We pay attention not only to predefined frameworks but also to unexpected opportunities. Alternative episodes, hypertext, rabbit holes. An unplanned encounter, a new discovery, a fork in the road – everything can become an additional episode, a branch of the plot, a diversion where the expedition team can veer off the beaten path. Well-trodden roads are convenient, but exotic flowers do not grow on them.
