Upon arriving on Earth, the members of the expedition set out on a journey around the world, trying to make sense of what is happening on this planet.
In each episode, they encounter humorous, touching, or tense adventures; face obstacles, pursuits, and oddities; meet unexpected new friends; and find themselves in extraordinary places.
Each situation is a search for the human within the human. Beginning their journey as naïve observers, the protagonists gradually develop a deep belief in human potential and help those they meet discover their own abilities.
The illustrations for the episodes are based on documentary photographs from the authors’ expeditions along the 30th parallel north. They have been created with the partial use of artificial intelligence and/or further processed or illustrated by artists.
